Workshop on First – Aid was conducted by the Staff Development Centre with the collaboration of the Medical Centre of the University. The Security Officers were the main target group for this programme. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sagarie De Silva and many other staff members including nurses, matrons were the Resource People who were actively engaged with the participants during this programme. It included both physical and practical sessions on how to provide the most suitable method of first-aid to the patients. This workshop was done as three half-day sessions on 15,17 and 22nd of November 2022 at the Skills lab in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University. A Letter of participation and a badge was issued to the participants who completed the training program successfully.
