A Fire-fighting awareness training program was held at the Staff Development Centre premises on the 08th of August 2023. This was conducted by the Colombo Municipal Council – Fire and Rescue training unit for the Technical Officers, Laboratory Assistants and Works-aids in the entire university. The workshop included all theoretical and practical sessions which gave the participants a very practical knowledge on how to act accordingly in case of a related disaster.
